discovered on this fabulous South American tour.
Beginning in beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina, you will
enjoy a Portenos tour of the capital, viewing the lavish
Teatro Colon, the famous opera house; 9th of July
Avenue, one of the world’s widest boulevards; and the
President’s residence, the Casa Rosada. You’ll travel to
a typical estancia (ranch) to experience the culture and
lifestyle of Argentina’s famed gauchos! Watch as these
skilled horseman captivate you with their “ring races,”
horsemanship and amazing feats of skill. After a day of
independent exploration, you’ll discover the art of
tango as you meet the dancers and learn a few steps
during an exciting lesson. Next you’ll fly to Iguassu
Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world bordering
Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. You’ll experience the
widest falls in the world from both the Argentinean side
and the Brazilian side, where you’ll walk on paths and
bridges to the base of the falls. Your flight to fabled
and fabulous Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, home to Copacabana,
Ipanema Beach and the famous Christ the Redeemer statue
is where you’ll spend three nights at a beachfront
hotel. You’ll cap off your amazing stay in Rio at a
typical “Churrascaria,” a true Brazilian feast of
barbequed meats.

Day 1: Overnight Flight
Board your overnight flight to Buenos Aires to begin your South
American adventure.
Day 2: Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tour Begins
Your tour begins this morning in the timeless city of Buenos
Aires, the gateway city of Argentina. Stretching along the banks
of the Rio de la Plata, Buenos Aires is a mosaic of European
influenced architecture, South American spirit and rich cultural
identity. Revel in the beauty of the “Paris of South America” as
you discover bustling city streets, charming shops and cafes.
This evening meet your fellow travelers at a welcome dinner at
one of the typical Argentine steakhouses Buenos Aires is famous

Day 3: Buenos Aires
Enjoy a Portenos tour of the capital, viewing the lavish Teatro
Colon, the famous opera house; 9th of July Avenue, one of the
world’s widest boulevards; Recoleta Cemetery, where the tomb of
Eva Peron is located; and the President’s residence, the Casa

Day 4: Buenos Aires
Travel through the famous Pampas to a typical estancia (ranch)
to experience the culture and lifestyle of Argentina’s famed
gauchos! Watch as these skilled horseman captivate you with
their “ring races”, horsemanship and amazing feats of skill.
Take part in a typical asado lunch, prepared over an open fire,
and enjoy traditional gaucho music and dancing, trademarks of

Day 5: Buenos Aires
Today is yours to explore Buenos Aires independently. Take a
stroll through San Martin Park or shop on Casa de Florida. This
evening discover the spirit and elegant passion of the tango,
the national dance of Argentina. Embrace the art of tango when
you meet the dancers and learn a few steps during your tango
lesson. Enjoy a delicious typical Argentine meal followed by an
unforgettable tango show! (B, D)
Day 6: Iguassu Falls National Park
Today you will fly to one of the natural wonders of the world -
breathtaking Iguassu Falls! Bordering on Argentina, Paraguay and
Brazil, Iguassu is the widest falls in the world. Explore the
falls from the Argentinean side and experience the Devil’s
Throat, where the power of the water will leave you breathless.
This evening, cross the border and settle into your hotel inside
the national park of Brazil. (B, D)
Day 7: Iguassu Falls National Park
Discover the Brazilian falls today on a leisurely walking tour
to the main tower and out to the base of the falls. This
afternoon you will have the opportunity to take part in an
optional jungle excursion complete with a rubber boat ride
through the main channel. Or, enjoy the afternoon at leisure to
further explore the park, or relax and enjoy the breathtaking
view from your hotel. (B)
Day 8: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
You will fly to Rio de Janeiro, the bustling cultural center of
Brazil. The mesmerizing landscape of Rio is one of a
cosmopolitan city surrounded by mountains and edged with white
sand beaches. This stunning setting, complemented by welcoming
locals and great cuisine, make this city truly unforgettable.
Your beachfront hotel provides the perfect backdrop for your

Day 9: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Today enjoy a Carioca’s tour of the city including the
world-famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and Flamengo Park.
You will also view Maracana Stadium, the largest stadium in the
world, and the enchanting Botanical Gardens. This afternoon is
yours to soak in Rio’s sun on the beaches or enjoy the
state-of-the-art facilities at your hotel. (B)
Day 10: Rio de Janeiro
This morning experience the breathtaking city of Rio from two
angles as you visit both Corcovado and Sugarloaf. Ascend by
train to the top of Corcovado and experience the magnificent
structure known as Christ the Redeemer. Next, take a cable car
to the top of Sugarloaf to observe the natural beauty of the
beaches and rolling forest from above. This evening indulge in a
typical “Churrascaria”, a true Brazilian feast of marinated and
barbequed meats. This is a perfect way to end your South
