and art. Then you’re off to the fabled resorts of St.
Tropez, Cannes and Antibes, the lively, charming
bastions of the rich and famous. Your visit includes a
stop at the inspiring Picasso Museum in Antibes,
featuring more than 200 pieces of his work. In Grasse,
you learn the art of perfume making and St. Paul de
Vence, a medieval walled town with historic buildings
and charming shops, will delight you. In Monaco, take a
panoramic tour highlighting the famous Casino of Monte
Carlo and the Cathedral of Monaco, where Princess Grace
is buried. Then cross the border into Italy to the
classic seaside resort of Viareggio for a three-night
stay. From your base here, travel to the beautiful city
of Florence and its many priceless treasures, including
the Academy Gallery, which houses Michelangelo’s figure
of David. Travel to Pisa and see the famous leaning
tower and Duomo Cathedral plus enjoy time to explore
Portofino and the coastal villages and vineyard of Cinq
Terre. Your tour concludes in Rome, the “eternal city,”
with a fabulous dinner celebration.

1: Overnight Flight
Enjoy the best of both worlds, the fabulous Rivieras of
France and Italy. This leisurely-paced program allows
you to explore elegant coastal resorts, medieval towns,
spectacular coastal scenery, excellent cuisine, fabulous
shopping and fascinating museums. Your memorable
vacation begins with an overnight flight to Europe.
Day 2: Nice (French Riviera), France - Transfer to
Juan Les Pins - Tour Begins
Your tour begins in the French Riviera. Upon arrival,
the remainder of your day is at leisure to relax or
explore this beautiful area known for its wonderful
climate and picturesque seaside resorts. This evening,
join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 3: Nice - St. Jean-cap-Ferrat - Eze
Begin your day with a tour of Nice. See the lively
seafront Promenade des Anglais and Place Massena, the
town's center of activity, before exploring the local
flower market. Visit the Chagall Museum to see his
celebrated collection of paintings. Next, travel the
French Riviera's spectacular coastline, passing the
charming town of Villefranche-sur-Mer to St. Jean-cap-Ferrat.
Visit the impressive Rothschild Villa and Gardens,
overlooking the sea on both sides and set in the heart
of seven unique and extraordinary gardens, each laid out
with a different theme. Explore this magnificent villa's
fine collection of furniture, porcelain and art. Next,
stop at medieval Eze village to learn the secrets of
perfume making at the Fragonard Perfumerie. A wonderful
dinner awaits you this evening at a popular local

Day 4: St. Tropez - Cannes
Today you are off to St. Tropez. Once an old fishing
village, this scenic area is now a fashionable resort
frequented by movie stars, artists and writers. Relax
and enjoy the sights on a delightful cruise around the
yacht-filled bay, before heading off to the popular
resort of Cannes. Explore the Old Town, Le Suquet, and
walk along the elegant Boulevard de la Croisette before
returning to Juan Les Pins. (B)
Day 5: Antibes - St. Paul De Vence
Begin your day at the fashionable resort of Antibes.
Continue inland to St. Paul de Vence, situated on top of
a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside. This
medieval, walled town is filled with historic buildings,
hidden alleyways, fabulous restaurants and many
specialty shops. (B)
Day 6: Nice - Monaco - Viareggio, Italy
Begin your day with a panoramic tour of Monaco featuring
the famous Casino of Monte Carlo, the Place des Armes,
Prince's Palace, Avenue des Beaux Artes, and the
Cathedral of Monaco, where Prince Rainier and Princess
Grace are buried. Then, cross the border into Italy and
travel the breathtaking coastline south to the classic
seaside resort of Viareggio for a three night stay. (B,

Day 7: Viareggio - Florence
A cultural tour in the "Cradle of the Italian
Renaissance" showcases the beautiful city of Florence. A
local expert highlights many of the city's priceless
treasures, including the Academy Gallery which houses
Michelangelo's monumental figure of David. At the Piazza
del Duomo, center of religious life in medieval
Florence, you'll see the impressive Cathedral of Santa
Maria del Fiore. You also view the Church of Santa
Croce, burial place of Michelangelo, Galileo and
Machiavelli. Later, visit a local shop for a tasting of
various olive oils and wines produced in Italy. The
remainder of your day is at leisure for you to explore
this magnificent city. (B)
Day 8: Viareggio - Portofino Peninsula - Cinque Terre
Visit the famous resort of Santa Margherita Ligure,
located on the Portofino Peninsula on the Italian
Riviera. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful town
and nearby Portofino. Later, board a train for a
spectacular trip to Cinque Terre. This rugged area is
incredibly beautiful, with terraced vineyards and
fishing villages overlooking the coastline. Discover
these traditional villages of colorful houses and
churches at leisure before returning to Viareggio. (B,

Day 9: Viareggio - Pisa - Rome
Travel to the ancient maritime Republic of Pisa and
explore the Piazza Dei Miracoli, the Duomo (Cathedral)
and its historic Baptistry, along with the famous
Leaning Tower of Pisa. Later, continue to Rome, "the
eternal city". This evening, join your fellow travelers
for a special farewell dinner celebrating the end of a

Day 10: Rome - Tour Ends
Your tour ends leaving you with many wonderful memories
of your unforgettable trip to the Rivieras of France and

offer. Enjoy another day of leisure to take in the sights and
sounds of Rome. Why not visit Vatican City and the magnificent
Vatican Museums. Perhaps you'll stroll by the Spanish Steps,
explore the history of the Colosseum and the Forum, or simply
watch the world go by from a sidewalk cafe.
