a cruise along the Paseo del Rio with views of the
famous Riverwalk, the city's delightful cobblestone
area filled with restaurants and antique shops.
Experience the beauty of thousands of candles
illuminating the Riverwalk where holiday cheer fills the
air as Christmas carolers sing from barges. You'll see
the Alamo and the Mission of San Jose, and shop the
colorful Mexican Marketplace. A special trip to Austin
includes a "Christmas from the White House" exhibit at
the LBJ Library, the 36th President of the United
States. In Fredericksburg, located in the heart of the
Texas Hill Country and today a shopper's paradise with
over 150 specialty shops, you'll enjoy decorations and
events flavored by its German and frontier heritage. An
evening of dinner and rootin' tootin entertainment at
an authentic dude ranch - decked out for the holiday
season - caps off your delightful trip to San Antonio.

observe how the White House has celebrated Christmas dating
back to the late 1800's.
- Explore Austin and enjoy a theatre
performance of The Santaland Diaries.
- The holiday season is a fabulous time to
visit Fredericksburg, a German settlement, to enjoy the sights and sounds of

Day
1: Arrive San Antonio, Texas
One visit to San Antonio and it’s easy to see why it is often
referred to as the “American Venice.” Sidewalk cafes, historic
architecture, and a beautiful river centerpiece make this a
truly remarkable city. The sights and sounds of the Christmas
celebrations are sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

Day 2: San Antonio - Austin - San Antonio
Your morning begins with a fascinating tour of San Antonio,
stopping at The Alamo, Institute of Texas Cultures, Japanese
Sunken Gardens and the Mission of San Jose. Next, travel to
Austin. Upon arrival, view the "Christmas from the White House"
exhibit at the LBJ Library. Here you’ll see how the holidays are
celebrated in “The President’s House,” viewing Christmas cards
and gifts dating back to the 1870s. Also see a fantastic
recreation of the White House complete with Christmas
decorations. There will be time to explore Austin before an
included theatre performance of The Santaland Diaries, a laugh
‘til you cry evening of holiday tales guaranteed to delight.
After the show, you return to your hotel in San Antonio. (B)
Day 3: San Antonio
Your day is at leisure to discover San Antonio on your own.
Spend time shopping for those special holiday gifts at the
colorful Mexican Marketplace. This evening, sit back and enjoy
the view as your included cruise takes you along the Paseo Del
Rio, also known as The Riverwalk. Enjoy the thousands of candles
that illuminate The Riverwalk where holiday cheer fills the air
as Christmas carolers sing from barges, in what is known as the
Fiesta De Las Luminarias. Then, enjoy a private cooking class.
Experience the flavors of true Tex-Mex cuisine as you learn the
art of cooking and making the perfect Margarita – then enjoy

Day 4: San Antonio - Fredericksburg - Bandera - San Antonio
The holiday season is a fabulous time to visit Fredericksburg,
located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, with events and
decorations flavored by its German and frontier heritage. You’ll
find something for everyone on your list in this shopper’s
paradise with over 150 specialty shops lining the downtown
streets. Tonight, take out your spurs for dinner and rootin’
tootin entertainment at an authentic dude ranch in the “Cowboy
Capital of the World”, Bandera. The ranch is all decked out for
the holiday season and is certain to be a highlight of your

Day 5: San Antonio - Tour Ends
