Smash hit's like Presley's "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and " Its Now or Never" came from Studio B sessions. Studio B's fame rest not only on the many hits recorded there, but also on its role creating what came to be known as the Nashville Sound. Producers and engineers, experimenting with a smooth, pop-oriented style aimed at adult audiences, proved tremendously successful in boosting country record sales and radio airplay. Today Studio B is under the auspices of the New Country Music Hall of Fame where it has entered a new phase of its history as a learning laboratory for students to gain experience working with historic and state- of -the art recording technology. RCA Studio B will be a highlight of your Music Cities Tour, promising a unique historical and entertainment experience for every generation of country fans.
