Day 2: Scottsdale
A local guide will introduce you to Scottsdale and Phoenix. Highlights of this tour include downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain, Paradise Valley, Old Town Scottsdale and more. This evening, travel to Pinnacle Peak Patio for dinner. When it first opened in 1957, Pinnacle Peak was a general store for travelers heading to nearby lakes. Later, they opened a restaurant specializing in traditional cookouts and the rest is restaurant history. Are you up for the ultimate challenge? Before dinner, you and your fellow travelers will divide into teams for a "Great Chili Cook-Off." There will be plenty of interesting ingredients available to create a great chili. You never know…your team could win the championship title. (B, D)

Day 3: Scottsdale - Clarkdale - Sedona
Today take a roundtrip ride from Clarkdale to Perkinsville on Verde Canyon Railroad - this is certain to be an unforgettable experience. Verde Canyon, accessible only by rail, resides between two national forests and follows the upper Verde River. This evening, fall under Sedona's spell as you experience the sheer, exuberant beauty of this destination. The area's canyons, wind-shaped buttes and dramatic sandstone towers embody the rugged character of the West. Tonight is yours to enjoy beautiful Sedona at your leisure. (B)

Uniquely For You                                      Grand Canyon Railway
Travel a century-old rail line aboard the historic Grand Canyon Railway from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. You'll be entertained by cowboy characters, enjoy the tunes of strolling musicians, and be part of a mock train robbery as train travel from the early 1900's is recreated during the scenic 65-mile journey from the canyon. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Grand Canyon Railway made its first trip to the Grand Canyon on September 17, 1901. Now you can depart the canyon the original way - by rail. The Railway is the best way to truly experience the Grand Canyon.
