Day
1: New Orleans, Louisiana - Tour Begins
Your exciting Cajun holiday celebration begins in New Orleans.
Prepare yourself for great food, friendly people, holiday cheer
and a tremendous amount of excitement and fun during this
festive holiday season.
Day 2: French Quarter
Enjoy a leisurely walking tour of the French Quarter, including
stately St. Louis Cathedral, the lively French Marketplace, the
Moon Walk and Pirate’s Alley, the infamous meeting place of Jean
Lafitte and his partners. Afterwards, relax at Cafe Du Monde
where you may enjoy their world-famous cafe au lait and
beignets. Your afternoon is at leisure to take in the joyous
sights and sounds of the holidays and perhaps do some last
minute Christmas shopping. Close your eyes and let your taste
buds travel the world. Dinner this evening will be at the
esteemed Culinary Institute of New Orleans. Watch as master
chefs teach the basics of the lifestyles, heritage and foods of
Louisiana. After dinner, travel to New Orleans' historic City
Park, transformed into a holiday wonderland. Its ancient oak
trees are aglow with massive ornaments along the two-mile route,
lined with over two million sparkling lights and light displays;
view a 52-foot paddle wheeler and a recreation of an Acadian
Village. "Celebration in the Oaks" is one of the most beautiful

Day 3: French Quarter - Bellingrath Gardens
Your day begins with a relaxing narrated cruise aboard the
steamboat SS Natchez. Sit back and listen, or perhaps join in,
as a local choir sings holiday favorites as you cruise along the
mighty Mississippi. Next, travel to Bellingrath Gardens, where
the magic of Christmas comes to life. Enjoy breathtaking holiday
displays throughout this historic home and its gardens. Be sure
not to miss Mirror Lake, the Great Lawn and the Oriental Garden,
all emitting their own special beauty and magic of the holiday

Day 4: French Quarter
This morning visit the Hermann-Grima House to experience an
old-fashioned Creole Christmas. See the house all decked out for
the holidays and view a special demonstration of holiday baking
in an 1830’s open-hearth kitchen. Later today enjoy the
opportunity to express yourself during your very own French
Quarter Maskarade experience - all you need to do is supply your
imagination. Following your mask making experience, enjoy a
scrumptious New Orleans holiday dinner. Top off the evening with
a holiday concert at the St. Louis Cathedral, where Christmas
carols and gospel favorites set the stage for holiday spirit and

Day 5: New Orleans - Tour Ends
