ride. Take a guided tour of Albuquerque's Old Town which
reflects a rich multi-culturalism, and visit Acoma
Pueblo, situated atop a 365-foot high sandstone mesa.

1: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Discover northern New Mexico, "the land of enchantment,"
during your three night stay. This evening attend a
special welcome reception and lecture before dinner. (D)
Day 2: Albuquerque
This morning, attend the Fiesta's opening ceremony,
including the Dawn Patrol show, and the dramatic first
Mass Ascension, where hundreds of hot air balloons and
many gas balloons ascend into the sky. Experience what
has grown into the most photographed event in the world.
Learn about New Mexico and its' influence on ballooning
with a visit to the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque
International Balloon Museum. Gain special understanding
on the mechanics of ballooning from your guest lecturer,
and then take a guided tour of Albuquerque's Old Town.
Discover this city's rich multi-culturalism, and
profound historic attractions. Tonight, return to
Balloon Fiesta Park to view the America's Challenge Gas
Balloon Race. (B)
Day 3: Albuquerque
This morning, enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon ride*,
followed by the Fiesta's champagne ceremony. Next, drive
west to "Sky City", Acoma Pueblo, situated atop a
365-foot sandstone mesa. Your evening features a special
farewell dinner. Afterwards, you may return to the
Fiesta grounds to watch more spectacular ballooning
events including the "Balloon Glow" and a fireworks
